My curve doesn't make any noise when I get a bbm I would like it to notify me vibrate or beep please help

Go to Profiles>Advanced>Normal>Messenger that should be where you can change it.

A friend just had this problem and it turned out that he had his BBM status set to "unavailable". Check that.

(I learned that here...)
