I'm trying to figure out if there is a problem with the os 4.5.0.81 or my 8310 hardware. This is the second time my blackberry has turned off on its own while in the magnetic holster. The phone will not turn on when pressing the power button. The only thing that I was able to do to turn it on was a battery pull.
I was considering reinstalling the 4.5 OS. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
I don't know if this will do it but you can check OPTIONS/SECUTIY OPTIONS/GENERAL SETTINGS and look to see if LOCK HANDHELD UPON HOLSTERING is set to on or off.
