    I am having what I think is a problem with my new blackberry - which by the way I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

    I have been trying to add a contact to blackberry messenger. He says he responded yes to the email request but he is still showing pendind. As I was exploring this site, I emailed a wallpaper to my phone---I have yet to receive it---20 minutes later. I checked the email address and it was correct. I had my friend send me a regular email to my blackerry account and it worked. I responded to him and he got it. He also said he sent me a request to add me as a contact, I never received it. Can anyone help me?

    My friend does not knwo what a pin is and I dont know how to find it.. What do you mean resending your service books? Remember I am new, I just got it yesterday!

    No both of you can find your pin by options > status

    When you compose the request use request by pin
    instead of email. Both of you should delete the pendings,
    and only one of you try the request

    Log into your BIS and check your settings. Then click "service books" then click "send service books"

    for BB Messenger: (Menu button is dotted button to the left of trackball)

    Open BBM. Hit Menu>Add a Contact..
    Scroll up to [Use Once] DO NOT CLICK.
    Hit MENU> Request by PIN...
    type in the other person's PIN (from Options>Status OR alt-ctrl-H form home screen) and click the trackball. Edit the message or leave it alone and click send and it will add the PIN to Pending, until it is accepted or denied.

    I hope this helps explain it.

    If email still not functioning I will check back and see if I can explain that quickly.

    What type of email do you use? If it's from say a Time Warner or Comcast account they could be having an outage.

    I noticed the first time I sent a wallpaper from Crackberry, it went to my junk email until I said that the address was trusted, check your junk mail folder on your PC.
