Three weeks ago I purchased the 8310 from AT&T. Last week I purchase the Sandisk 8GB. When installed the 8310 displayed that the media card had 7.5GB of available storage. After selecting 6.5 GB of mp3s to load on the micro disk, I started receiving parameter exceeded error after 3.9GB. I called Sandisk support to find out what is the problem is they told me that the OS supports disks up to 4.0. After looking on the BB website I fount out that BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 supports 8GB and 4.2.2 supports 4.0GB.

Does anyone know where I may get a copy of BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 if it is available for the 8310 or when will it be available?

    Thanks

    Welcome to CrackBerry.

Like all addicts, we are all jonsing for a new fix. When v4.3/v4.5 releases, you will hear about it here first.

There is no reliable timeframe, only the co-ceo's of RIM know for sure how close it is. Typically, they are not saying much about it.... a good sign.

When I go to media card in the options menu my 8310 does show me the full 7.50 GB. (Without a BBOS reformating the card Then it shows the 4GB) Will I still have to wait until BBOS 4.3 come out for the 8310-ATT?
