I tried searching through the forums but I couldn't find anythintg on this.

What I'm trying to do is watch youtube videos on my curve but when I click the videos, the media player on the curve comes up and after 60 seconds or so, it says error loading file.

Is there something I'm missing to play these videos?

From what I understand you have to have 4.3 or higher for youtube to work. Hope that helps.

This happenned to me as well however I'm on the 8320 and using 4.5. What I did was a good old fashioned battery pull and when I fired youtube back up some videos worked others didn't. However I find if I click watch video and not the image it works more consistently. Also if it doesn't work the first time just try reloading the page. Hope that helps!

4.3 with Verizon 8330 (looks like Sprint and Telus, too). 4.5 with T-Mobile 8320 - T-Mobile also works better on Wi-Fi.

Yep, 4.3 or above and turn off the wi-fi. I had the same problem a couple of days ago and that worked like a charm.

Are ya going to the mobile youtube page??? Think it's m.youtube.com.

Call me stupid but I didn't know this when I first came to CB. I have a 8330 curve and it works fine.

BerryGuy25. there is probably about 100 forums on this issue, and people always say the same thing . M.youtube, audioboost, blah blah , works for me , somthing wrong with your settings blah blah lol. truth is, it is a Telus issue. All Telus users cant stream youtube or any videos for that matter, they are just gimpy for that reason.

but a cool alternitive is Tinytube.net , you have the option to Download the video as well as streaming it, knowing Telus users cant stream, we Download it, but the video quality is terrible, but its as good as your going to get over the net
