Blackberry Curve 8330 white screen

Hello all, I dropped my phone about two or three weeks ago and its had a white screen ever since. The phone still works though. I can call, receive calls, messages and emails, etc. However, i can't see what I'm doing.

I've tried everything to get it to work to no avail.

I reformatted the OS thinking it might be a software problem (used bbscreenstream to help me see what I was doing...).

I changed the LCD thinking the original might be broken. Then i tried another screen to make sure my the screen I ordered wasn't faulty.

I put tape over the USB solder points (though I don't know how that would short circuit anything... there's nothing on the back of the LCD screen that would cause it to short circuit when contacting those solder points...)

I tried a different battery to make sure it wasn't related to my original battery.

None of these helped. My screen is still white. Anyone have any suggestions? Anything would be welcome, please.

My friend just had to replace his 9330 curve 3 because of this same issue. Sorry to hear that u are having issues. Have a good one

Yea, seems its suggested I just get a new phone. Thats a real bummer. Was really hoping to find some sort of fix but apparently there is none besides the ones I have already done...

Anyone know of any other fixes? Guess I'll have to start looking into getting a new phone...
