    I downloaded the latest os the only thing I noticed is that the wi-fi is not present is it on the phone just not in the icons. If not ware can I get it

    Id personally rather use gps than wifi, I have wifi and I never ever use it LOL trade ya! :0)

    Im almost pretty sure the 8530i has it all. WIfi and GPS, thats a new sprint/nextel one.

    I use the wifi alot at work and the gps the only thing that sucks about the gps is that you have to pay or it

    There are many programs that you can use the GPS for that are free. There are no fees from ATT for use of the GPS - just their service TeleNAV or whatever it's called.

    Try Google Maps or if your phone doesn't have it preinstalled get BBMaps.

    Google Maps rocks on the 8310. You can also get a free turn-by-turn-with-voice street nav program called Nav4All that's free and works with it. AT&T disabled BBMaps with OS 4.5, but there's a thread around here where a couple of users seem to have found a work-around.

    Another great GPS-aware program is Beyond411. I use it a lot. Like Google Maps it lets you search for places based on your location. It seems to me it has more places in its database than Google Maps; might just be me.
