Just a thought for those of you thinking about buying your deivce on EBAY or private party.
When you do this keep in mind to talk about with the seller the following:
If the device was hooked up to the BIS, make sure the seller deletes or has another device assigned to their account. If this is not done, you will not be able start your own account. The BIS will see that the PIN is already assigned and stop you.
If the device is on BES, then you want assure step above is done, if the seller also has a BIS account. More so, you want assure that the device you are purchasing has been released from the BES by their company, so you will not run into BES IT policy issues.
I see this quite often and about all I can say it is not good to be you and try to explain that you need to contact the seller to resolve the concern.
