Hey guys. Just thought I'd pass along a warning to anyone interested in purchasing a Kingston 8GB microSDHC card from Buy.com.
I placed an order for this card (SKU# 208403543) on 9/2, and as of today, 9/12, it has not even shipped out. It was $33 w/free shipping, so I expected to be patient, but never expected it to be this bad.
When originally placing the order, the item said it "ships in 1 to 2 business days". Ever since, my order status has been "sent to warehouse", which pretty much means absolutely nothing other than that my order has been processed, my credit card has been charged, and I've gotten NOTHING.
It's taken 4 emails to their customer service over 3 days to finally learn that the item is on "backorder", and that their site updates item status every 24 hours. However, I placed my order 10 days ago and the item status has never changed. It's a pretty shady way to get purchases when they don't even have the item in stock, and have no idea when they will, either. The page for this item STILL says it's in stock and ships in 1-2 bus. days, but that's an outright lie.
I've posted microSDHC card deals here before but unfortunately this time I feel compelled to warn you all NOT to get in on this one.

hope it all works out. I've purchased over 10 mini & micro sd cards from buy.com without any issues. A few were even free while they had the deal with google check out.
