I have played around with many combinations of head phones etc. with my 8330. One thing I have found with mine is. I get the clearest bass punch with highs is having EQ set to loud and using the Mic adapter found here on this site. The BB seems to have the clearest sound with it one bar down from the top. Every time I change from this, I find that it is some what lacking and go back to this all the time.Then I adjust the volume at the adapter. Oh and make sure you have the audio boost set to on.

Man this with a good pair over the ear headphones, either high end in ear or over the ear sounds GREAT to me. My ears hurt from the punch and it is pretty clear to me.

One note: If you get one of these is. My hinge pin fell out right away. I put a drop of gel Super glue on each end and it has been good sense.
