I put a post yesterday but its buried in the sticky above : anyone upgrade to 4.5 on the 8330 and is running BES? Does it require anything special? Garz had a post that said "you need to reconnect to BES" - as in via my BES Admin or something I can do?
This is what I do when I upgrade my OS on the BES. I have my DM set up for BIS. I never tried it as BES setup. I just load the 4.5 OS onto my BB. Nothing different that a BIS user does. After completion, I get a new BES password from my IT dept and reconnect and thats it. Other users my do different but that how I upgrade and I have done about 10 OS changes.
I am on BES and recently upgraded (4 days). Call me lucky or dumb luck, but i didn't have to do anything different. Loaded the new OS 4.5 and the device did the rest. Working perfect (knock on wood) good luck
