    every time i go into the bbm 5.0 my phone freezes or will run extremely slow i have to do a battery pull to unfreeze it i have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but still cant use bbm i have over 31000000 bytes of free space also im running os 4.5.0.131 platform 3.4.0.25 is anyone having this problem with the 8330?

    .131 doesn't support BBM5.0. You need I believe .165 or above.

    I have .138 on my 8330 and BBM 5.0 works fine on it.

    I'm running .131 on an 8330 and BBM 5.0 works perfectly for me. Wish I knew what to tell you.

    Just wanted to add that I couldn't even get BBM 5.0 to download and install properly thru Blackberry App World so I went to the Blackberry Mobile Site and it zipped right thru. If you used App World you might want to try that as well. Hope you get it straightened out cuz it's even better than the leaked version.

    FALSE! I am running 4.5.77 and it runs flawlessly!
    I am running 4.5.0.77 and the only prob I have seen so far is that when trying to select a view a pic that was sent to me it looks like it is downloading but the screen just remains white.

    Other than that it seems to be working fine.

    .138 works fine on mine. I did download it from the blackberry site rather then here so that could be your problem. Just an idea

    Even though it prompts you to reboot the device after installing BBM 5.0, I still recommend a battery pull. The device and it's capacitors need to "die" in order for a true reset to occur, a soft reset or using QuickPull does not achieve the same results. Remove the battery while the device is ON, wait a minute and replace...
