    Look in the app store for a third party app. Strange but I think it is bblight the same as the title to the thread..

    Do you mean the LED in the upper right hand corner of the BlackBerry?

    If your answer is "yes", then follow this procedure:

    Menu > Profile > Advanced > (Click on what ever profile is active) > BlackBerry Messenger Alerts and change the alerts for in and out of the holster.

    So you need bblight for the led to light? On 5.0 it is an option in profiles...

    seems to be some confusion. OP is talking about the App, - BBLight, not the led light.

    which is why mine doesnt light up, it doesnt with BBM. (the screen)

    do you mean that your screen comes to life when you get a new messenger mail?

    No, my screen doesn't come to life. But my LED will flash.

    Which "item" are we talking about?

    The screen lol NOT the led. With bblight it will light the screen up for tetxts, emails, calender etc but it does not have the option to "wake up" with a bbm.

    i seen a couple people ask how to get it to work
    i thought the answer was bblight
