I own a Verizon BB Curve 8330 and a black macbook. Is there a version of desktop manager or other software which is compatible with Mac OS 10.4?? Whenever I have to Sync my curve, I have to use a friends Vista OS computer.
I tried Pocket Mac and it was basically useless.

What's the scoop? Anyone know how to solve this issue?

You can get pocketmac or muissing sync from blackberry.com. overall MACS and BB devices do not play well together. pocket mac or missing sync will let you sync your personal data only. No backups, OS updates etc.

There are other options if you gave gmail or yahoo email. These include google sync and yahoo sync.

VZW does not support MAC sync issues, but will get you RIM that wil support Pocket MAC to a point.

Your only other option is Missing Sync for Blackberry: BlackBerry Sync Mac - Bluetooth sync for BlackBerry and Mac with iTunes, Entourage, iCal and iPhoto

However, it costs $39.95 and it doesn't let you do OS updates or backups.

Run VMWare or Bootcamp or another method of getting windows onto your mac, and sync using BB Desktop manager.

Not the easiest method but it works.
