I've had my curve for over a year now and has been working flawlessly. There has been no change in use, still consistent from day 1, but recently I've noticed that my battery life has been dying a lot quicker than it used to. Anyone have any suggestions on why this could be happening, or do you think it's just an old battery starting to lose it charge capacity.
you most likely downloaded an application to your phone and it most likely runs in the background. Like teknqe stated, ubertwitter is notorious for this as that is how it updates you of new "tweets"
I can't remember and dont have my berry in front of me but i believe you hold alt and then tap back and you can scroll through what is open.
I tried that. I had BB App World and Google Maps running.......I'm sure it was Google Maps killing it, always updating it's location. I'll let you guys know if it helps.
If that doesn't work, try charging the phone every night, no matter how much the charge is...you can only damage the battery by letting it run down...another piece of information I learned right here on CrackBerry!!
i had the same issue with my curve, it seems like once bbm 5.0 came out the battery level got worse. i did not put 5.0 on my device anything else that would make the battery level go down?

Opened applications that are running in the background. You can check to see what you have open my holding down "Alt" and pressing the back arrow.
