So I just got a curve 8330 yesterday from my friend who got it new in September, now every few seconds no matter what screen I'm on the hourglass comes up pausing the BB for a split second. It is somewhat annoying and just wondering what could be causing it as well as any possible fixes?
i just started this same thread today...what did you do? i'm running facebook and myspace and now the hourglass won't go away and i'm not getting my emails to my bb anymore! what did you do???
Facebook doesnt have to be working p-erfect for all time, it acts up when it wants too, it happens, and its a huge problem right now for some BB owners who have it installed.
I dont know how to explain what service books are, a search will tell yoou that, one thing I do know if whenever you are having email issues ie sending or mainly receving, you can log onto your sprint acct where you see your email address, and you will see a link for service books, alternativly, and the easiest way to send them, is on your phone, find the manage internet email icon, click on that and follow thru till you see send service books,
So, with that you can fix any email issues, and you will get your facebook icon back if you uninstall and delete it, however, try running your berry for a while withtout facebook installed to narrow down the problem
I had a similar problem, phone was shutting down during a call, and hourglass was show up after pulling battery or plugging into a power source. T-Mobile provided a replacement phone (front part only, used existing battery and back cover). Problem remained. Tried a replacement battery and the phone is back to normal and working great.
