Okay, this question might have been asked before but I was unable to find a topic regarding my question via search. I have the Blackberry Curve 8330 and I was wondering about battery charging...

Does it make a difference if I charge the battery with the phone on or off? I would like to leave my phone on and charge it...will this effect the battery life or performance?

    I don't believe it makes a difference.

Here is a link that you can read to help you better understand the Blackberry's battery.

    It really makes no difference.

With all the phones I've ever owned, I have always charged with the phone on. And I have never had to buy a new battery for any phone!

Quite frankly, I NEVER turn my BB off. If I'm not taking any calls, I simply turn the ringer (profile) to off.

I always keep the phone on and the charger plugged into the wall socket.

    No issues, no drama.
