Hi,

I have tried to charge my old 8300 curve just recently as I have not used it for nearly 8 months, and I have been using my new pearl 8120.

The problem is there are no indications showing that the battery is charging on the 8300. The battery has not been used much either.

Would the charge indicator come on if I left it to charge longer maybe over night

if the indicator doesn't come on right away when you plug it in then your battery or charging port are probably shot

The only charging indication that I get on my Curve is the image of a plug next to the battery icon. The plug goes away when the battery is fully charged.

Well before I used to get the green light flashing while it was chaging when the handset was switched off.

And the battery icon appeared when it was charging with the handset turned on.

The 8300 was fine before I upgraded to the 8120.

Don't know why its doing this, as my 8300 was not used much
