I have an 8320 TMobile and a 2GB media card.

4.2 was running fine and all was well. upgraded to 4.5 and immediately had problems, fone will freeze up upon no activity for 30secs or so. if you keep doin stuff it wont freeze, jsut when its idle.

i traced problem to memory card, when i remove it, all is well, when i formatted it and put it in, all was well.

when i transferred pics and ringers back on it, FROZEN.

remove card and all is well again.

This is a known issue. Resolution is to format the media card. If you can try formatting it in the BB. If you are formatting it from a PC, you need to format the card to FAT16.

i formatted in PC and then again in the fone and then moved files back onto it. ill check and make sure I formatted to FAT16 and not 32.

well it seems like just the pics are whats throwin it off. i have my ringers & music loaded and so far so good.

the pictures have some deep file structures, i wonder if thats whats doin it?

Maybe a corrupt file... Taking things one step at a time is good to help narrow down the issue.
