Hi there,

My device used to backup just fine with my work PC. Never tried it with the mac. But now, everytime i try to back it up to the pc, i get a communication error. "data was not recognized by the device". What does that mean?? how can i fix it?

I just had this issue also,

I opened up DM, back up/restore, advanced, selected where I was getting the error, (same place as you) and then I hit clear, I had 2 things, in that browser thing that needed to clear, it did the trick, and I was able to do a complete back up
