[Cruisin Newfie]

Hello all;
I have a BB8330 that can boot and the track ball works to scroll the first page displayed but I can't click or select anything!
I connect to desktop manager and the icon shows POWER connection for only a few seconds and goes away, back to battery power. I have pulled battery and left it off for a couple hours, tried again and the same. I read somewhere else that the keypad contacts may be damaged and see a stuck key, thus not allowing trackball/enter selection to work so I opened her up and removed the keyboard, same problem.
Any ideas? I REALLY need my phone contacts in case I need a new BB......

Try booting the device in safe mode and see if it will load.

You could try using bbsal to back it up, but if desktop manager can't see it chances are neither will bbsak.

Try a different usb port on your PC, and ensure your USB power settings are properly configures...
