I've looked through the forums and can"t find the answer to this question.

The screen brightness on my curve is set to 100 with auto dim off. the issue I am having is that the screen will get brighter for a few seconds then go back to where it was randomly. Is there a sensor that I could possibly be putting my finger over with out knowing it?

Also, every once in a while the keyboard pad will stay dark when i am in the dark.

any suggestions? the phone is 3 weeks old.

Take it back to VZW and tell them there is a malfunction with the light sensor.....since it is less than a month old, they should replace it with a new one for free.

did you do a battery pull after changing the settings? that seems to be a lingering bug throughout all of the releases.

I tried the battery pull with no luck.

Guess I'm heading back to the VZW store.
