It seems to me that when I reboot or batterypull my 8330 it takes around 3 or more minutes to have the houglass screen dissappear and return to the home screen. Is this a normal amount of time?

A bb is really just like a computer, you have to think about how long it takes to reboot your computer and grab your wireless signal. Its probably about the same. As long as your bb boots up its gonna be a good day
