Been searching for a while and understand WHY the timezone doesn't automatically switch on the blackberry phones. But this factor doesn't effect me so was wondering if there was any 3rd party software that can use either the location of the cell tower or gps and automatically change my timezone?
I noticed this too on my Curve... Why does it not change? Certainly the network knows what time zone we are in, and feature phones routinely show local time.

If that app works to automatically change your time zone when you enter a different zone, please post a note to that effect in the Time Zone thread that you referenced above. I'd be glad to know an app exists, and know how they did it.
