I am trying to find a free app that will simply respond to text messages and say that I am driving and will reply when I can. I tried textback and cannot get it to do anything.

Yeah, there are plenty of red lights and stop signs! :P In all honesty, I've never heard of anything like that...but I'll keep my eyes peeled

Don't know if this helps. But you could go to Menu/Options/Auto Text and Menu/New. You can have as long of a response you want just by hitting 2 letters and a space. Comes in handy for many uses. But you will have to type at least 2 letters and hit the space bar to activate the auto reply. Oh yeah and enter/send.

I used '$$' (b/c it's right by the enter button)
& Replace with "Hey, I'm driving. Text you back later. -AutoReply"

Now I don't have to pay for the app...yay, thx
