Since I'm not so used to having a connected handheld, and since it's so easy to switch apps, I sometimes forget to disconnect my browser. Is there a software app that will automatically kill off a web session after a set amount of time or no activity?

This is costing me a lot of minutes when I forget...

I'm not 100% sure this will do what you want, but take a look and check out the Auto Standby application currently on sale in the CB store. You'll need to read all the features, etc. to see if it will accomplish what you want.

    Welcome to CB!

Sorry, menu > close, is the only way to truly close the app.

The browser is always active, you can't stop it.

Autostandy won't do what the OP wants. It will stop activity, but once you come out of standby everything will be running again.

If you leave your BB on all the time, one trick is to set auto off to turn off your BB for a short time in the middle of the night then turn it on again. This should disconnect you from any active web sites that might be automatically updating data.
