I can't seem to open attachments on emails and messages that are sent to me. Is there some option that need to be tweaked to be able to see pictures and attachments that are sent to me?

According to the file type (bmp, jpg, gif, doc, xls and others) you should.

All those are viewable with the BlackBerry Attachment Service.
Go to your TMo BIS account, and resend the service books, and pull your battery to reboot the BB.

mms messages? I always have to press options button and "retrieve now" to get them, won't work in bad service areas though. Html you can't see in emails without a reader program like bb smart

i got rid of the problem, thought i should share it,

well there were a number of games installed on the device that were probably consumin much memory space, and got rid of the problem after uninstalling it,

now attachments can be viewed
