Any word on the new Atomic Trackball? If it is out anyone try it and where did you get it?

The Atomic Trackball is not out yet, and will not be backwards compatible with older BB's once is it released.

You can buy the black trackball from the 8900 Curve, but it is the same trackball as the white/clear one, just a different color.

I am using the G1 black trackball from Cellular Accessories - Panasonic, Motorola, Dopod/O2, Tools, BenQ-Siemens, Samsung, LG, HTC, Microsoft, i like the look of the black alot better than the original white...

I would guess it no longer lights up. Or does some light seep from behind?

You guessed right, no light to speak of in the trackball area with a black trackball installed.

I am using the curve 8900 trackball. It does not light up it is just black.

I am awaiting my black G1 trackball. It should be here tomorrow ! SD I will pm you and let you know what I think

Ok got it today and it is amazing. Rolls much better and is way more accurate. I will never go back to the white one.
