I couldnt remember if I posted this or not, I looked for it and couldnt find it so if I did I'm sorry. I know you can go to media>ringtones and assign 1 ringtone to apply to all sound profiles but what I would like to know is if it is possible to do this for other parts of the sound profiles like texts, calender alerts etc. if so how?

go into the profile you want to edit and you can do this there. i changed mine, too

Is that supposed to change it on every profile though? If I change a cound on 1 profile it does not change it on all the others. I'm just to lazy to go into every profile and change my sounds every time I want something different

Ringtones are the only sounds you can assign globally across all Profiles at one time. The rest you'll need to assign individually.
