So my trackball has felt mushy for a long time, since shortly after I got my 8300 a year ago. Wow, it's been a whole year! Anyhoo, it lost the tangible *click* when you press down on it. Still works, but I miss the feedback of knowing when the click actually registers.

I finally ordered a replacement trackball assembly and swapped it out, but it's the same! It must be the actual switch on the board, which I'm guessing isn't replaceable. You think AT&T would give me an 8310 if I complained? I guess I am stuck with this until I get a new BB.

worth a shot right hey you might gain GPS, and you've got nothing to lose. I just would not mention that you replaced the track ball.

Hmmm, perhaps I should wait until they drop the Bold before complaining....
