I am running OS 4.5.0.56 on my Curve 8330. I downloaded the facebook application I didn't like it so I went in to the options and deleted it there, but the application remains. So I plugged it to the Desk Top Manager, (version 4.6), and the application add/remove doesn't show the facebook app.

    any ideas?

Also try deleting any service books associated with the app.
Just know that if they come from your carrier they may get
pushed back to you anytime your s/b's are resent.

But start with greg's suggestion of a battery pull.

Let's not start thinking of doing anything as drastic as that yet.
    Simplest things first.

God, I Wasn't Telling Them To That, Just That It Does Happen That You Have To Wipe Your Phone! And No I'm Not An Idot, It Wouldn't Show On The Dm, Deleted My Service Books, The App From My Phone, Restarted Countless Times, And Was Still There. Sorry I Was Trying To Help!!!!!

Note the fact I didn't tell them how.
