    This has got to be the noobist question but how can I tell if programs are running in the background on my 8330 ? it doesn't have a task manager like my windows mobile phone did. thanks for the help..

    Press the ALT key and the back arrow button at the same time. You have to press and hold them.

    There will be 5 or 6 apps that cannot be closed: Messages, Browser, Home Screen, BBM, and Call Logs.

    I have tryed pressing the alt key and back button at the same time and all this does is lock my phone. What am I doing wrong?

    Just press the blackberry button, then when the menu pops up select switch application
