Does anyone know exactly how this Auto on/off really works. I have my BB set for a specific on time in the morning (8 am) and a specific off time at night (midnight). However, if I turn off my bb during the day, it will tell me that the next time it will turn on is 12:45 pm! Eh? Where is it getting these times from? Does it turn back on for meeting or task alerts? Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, you may have an alarm, calendar event or task due at that time.

Thanks, now it makes sense. So if I need it to stay off I need to do a full power off!

Thanks. That was driving me crazy. ANY task or calendar event with no time specified was causing auto on to kick in at 11:45 PM. I was looking everywhere to find out where that was coming from.
