Hi there,

I recently came into possession of a Curve 8330 locked to the Alltel network. I was wondering if (after I get it unlocked) it would be possible to use on a prepaid network like Boost or Cricket (after they get their blackberry plan). I'm fairly certain that Cricket is CDMA...

I would really like to use this phone for something that doesnt require me to enter 2 year contract...

actually, from what i have read it seems that CDMA phones dont need to be unlocked? Sorry, I'm new to CDMA phones...

CDMA Phones have to be flashed to work on other networks.
