Last night I noticed an icon for Airg Chat. I never downloaded this app and can't seem to remove it. The best I can do is hide the icon. I'm using a bb 8330 with os 5. Has one else seen this?

Just hide it, it's just a link pushed by your carrier. If you're really offended by it, the only way to get rid of it completely is to download it then delete it from your Applications list. At least that worked for me with a facebook link and I never got it back. But it's a lot of trouble for very little gain. I ended up creating a folder called trash and shoved all that crap in there, then hid it!

before you remove it, learn from my mistake. first ask every member of your family if they downloaded it to use on your berry. my 18 year old nephew who's staying with us downloaded it and was using it when I was home from work. After deleting it, he apparently lost all the contacts of chicks he'd been chatting with for a month. lol. oops!
