    I don't quite understand why.. but when i go to blackberry's website and download it .. it says "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support AOL instance messenger for BlackBerry"

    anyone got an idea why?

    They don't officially support it on the Curve. I know I went around it somehow to get it installed on my Curve, but I can't remember how.....

    i had AIM on my Curve with 4.3 and 4.5. i have VZW though.

    AIM 2.1 is not supported on the BlackBerry Curve. Get the newest device software for your phone (from your carrier) and load the version that is in there with application loader. AIM 2.0 should work.

    i can't log into my aim, i try to use the aim application that came on my t-mobile curve 8320. when i try to log in, it says my password and username is incorrect. what's wrong?

    Anyone know where to get Aim ver. 2.0 or lower? I have tried blackberry.com and the links provided in this thread and Aim website as well. All sites and links download ver. 2.1 which will not work on my curve. So if anyone can direct me to ver. 2.0 or give me a alternative service that will let me use my AIM buddy list it would be greatly appreciated.

    AT&T counts IM as data, there is a IM client that sends IM's as texts if you dont have a daa plan.
