I have AIM on my sprint Curve. It came with it, you should try to download it from the AIM site.

Not really an answer to the OP's question.

    FROM MOBILE.AOL.COM

    Verizon Wireless:

    AIM for Verizon Wireless

The AIM application comes preloaded on most Verizon Wireless phones. To check if you already have it -
    1. Check under "Messaging"
    2. Then under "Mobile IM"
    Or
    1. Check "Get it now"
    2. Select "Tools on the Go"
    3. Select "Mobile IM"

I don't think Verizon supports AIM, even if the AOL website gives you an option to download it for Verizon. It has never worked on my Verizon 8830, but Sprint allows AIM on its version. JiveTalk is much better than AIM anyway

I agree, Beejive is by far the best IM app, especially if you use multiple IM clients.

I have to say that I prefer free apps over ones you have to pay for, but if you use IM on your BB, BeeJive is worth it
