Ok i have read the forums and found all the suggestions as to how to clear some memory space and have done it. I got an 8310 about 3 months ago and have a 4g card in it. So all my pics and music are going to my card, and i only have google map installed. i deleted my facebook, my unused languages, sample vid, old messages, did bat. pull...you name it.
I got gotten it to about 15,000,000 free but tow days later its at 9,000,000. I have seen from the other posts that 12 is the number to be at and no lower. What should i look into? i am new to this and am a bit lost. layman's term would be appreciated!

Are you sure you followed the memory optimization ? You should have a heck of a lot more than 15 free. And did you follow this one ? http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...-memory-34633/
