I am using a 8300 with the 4.6 desktop manager.
I have installed applications many times before but now with this new 4.6 when I go to install a new application it is completely reinstalling the os with the added applications. Meaning its erasing all my data and restoring it like I am updating the os when all i want to do is install an app. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes. I just deleted my OS on my PC and now I don't have that issue any more.

what do you mean you deleted your os on your pc?

Ur os is stored on ur pc. That's how desktop manager restores it. I just deleted it and it solved the issue.

i tried looking all over my pc for the backup of the new os and i cant find it anywhere. i dont think that was my issue
