This is for activating the device for use with a Blackberry Enterprise Server. This is usually done via a corporation that manages the Blackberry devices for the company. Do you know if you have one of these?

BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server, it is a server product that gets installed at your company or ISP and it provides connectivity Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise.

If you have an account on a BES server at work or your email provider (such as mail2web.com), then you can activate your device on it (there are various ways, wired or wireless) and access your emails, PIM data, etc through it. If you don't have such an account, then simply don't worry about it. If you do have such an account, contact your admin or ISP.
