Hi everyone,


I recently updated my Sprint Blackberry Curve to the newest version of 4.5. However I am unable to still put accents on text messages, even with my input language set to Spanish. I have seen it done on other blackberries, is there any way to get this working?

What I do is hold down a letter and the roll the trackball until it
gets to the character I want and release the letter.

That method works in emails, memo pad, BBM, and AIM, and even the facebook application. For some reason, when I do that in my text messages it solely switches from small to capital letters

*Before upgrading to 4.5 the same issue also occurred in BBM though that was fixed with updating to 4.5

That is odd, I just ran through about 6 of them in a text message
and they worked the same as in any other app.
