Just thought I'd share the news. Its not the best deal ever, but pretty good if you are looking to get that 8gb card for less than $25 bucks. I ordered mine from the same site and it arrived within 2 days. Quick and reliable shipping from Ohio.

Kingston Technology's Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) memory cards are fully compliant with the new Secure Digital Association 2.00 specification. how can you figure out if you need an 8gb card? I am using a 4gb now, and have 3.3gb available, so I guess I am not a big user since I have been using this card for over a year. Should I splurge on an 8gn, or stick with my 4gb?

4 gb is perfect for pictures, a couple of playlists and a few videos.
I've stopped using my 30gb IPOD because the curve is so convenient. I love how my music stops and I can just answer with the headphones on.
You can even use it as a portable drive.
I also have a Sandisk 8gb sdhc card in my Curve 8320 running now OS 4.5.0.102 except it has no files since for the past 5 days the BB crashes, restarts, freezes once i put any media into it!!! Very frustrating!! Planning on adding a single media file every day until it crashes again...so far with one photo, one ring tone and one song is holding up!!
will 8gb micro high capacity sd cards work for OS 4.2? im new to blackberry and i am afraid to upgrade the OS so i doubt i will be upgrading that. i don't know what benefits the new OS 4.5 have over OS 4.2 anyways?
I just ordered this for my ATT curve with os 4.2 (I believe)
a. did I order the right card and
b. will it work whenever ATT upgrades to 4.5?
On an 8310 you need OS 4.5 for your phone to access the full 8Gb. If you are running OS 4.2 then after you format the card in the phone you will only see 4Gb (well 3.7 actually).
The latest version of OS 4.5 is downloadable from the link in the Stick at the top of the 83xx forums.
To learn all the nauseating details of microSDHC cards and which OSs they run with, check out the link in my signature.
