Default 83xx Sub-Forum Needs Moar Love!!!!

So I've been noticing that there's a lot of negativity on the 83xx thread, what with people only coming here to ask for advice when something is broken. While I'm totally for that and these forums were made specifically for that reason, I for one propose that we shed some positive light on these phones which we love.

I love my 8330. Is it old? A little. But it does what I need it to and I plan on keeping it until it can no longer fulfil what I need it to do.

So what do you say, how much do you love your 83xx?

Its the most reliable BB ive ever had. Im currently using it after my 9630 went down. Ill be upgrading to the 9900 next month, but I will keep my 8330 as my back up.

I got a droid incredible and enjoyed the features for a new features for a few months and then ultimately ended up switching back to my 8330 because it does what I want to do on my phone better than the droid. So I pretty much favor this phone over a droid.

I have pretty much the exact same story except with a Samsung Moment. The apps are cool and all, but after all the dust settled I really only found myself using a select few (all of which my 8330 can do). Also I hated typing on that horrible keyboard, but not as much as I hated typing on the screen >.<

I try the new feature phones, but with all of the weird bugs and quirks (not to mention terrible battery life), I keep coming back to the 8330. Most recently I tried the Evo 3D

I admit I jumped for the android (Samsung Epic) too. Sure the apps were cool, but it quickly wears off! I could never get the dang swipe keyboard to text correctly, and the battery life sucked! I came back to my 8330 a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier!!

As this is my 1st BB, I must say that I love it. I do wish that the web was faster and had more memory, but after reading all the reviews for other models, I am glad that I went with this phone. I'll be using this for awhile. The same can be said from all my friends that have this phone.
