Anyone know of a program to turn on and off the LED used for the flash so as to use it for a flashlight?

But I found this Flashlight Pro by S4BB Limited - Handango BlackBerry Curve Software

Use the search option you would come up with some posts about flashlights.

$5 for something that would be free on just about any other phone.

Thanks for the link, but this software uses the backlight on the screen, not the LED on the back side normally used by the camera flash.

Once again, thank you but this uses the screen as a flashlight, not the white LED used by the camera as a flash.

For what its worth, I think I will just pick up a X1 flashlight to carry most of the time with me, and only use the curve as a flashlight when absolutely needed.
