ok guys i was wondering i came to the 8330 from the 8350i i could play all kinds of videos on my 8350i from memory stick but this 8330 wont play any i had on there already . anyone encoding there own movies and playing on there 8330 ? would love to know your settings (codec used , file type stuff like that ) i may pull one off there it recorded and try to duplicate the settings maybe uping quality of course . thanks in advance

I can't get my 8330 to play much in the way of video either, I use Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate to convert to 3gp format. Which, for me anyway, has been the only reliable playback format I can find for my 8330.

I use magic dvd ripper to put it in mp4 format.
However, with the 8330 I still run it through Roxio's media manager to optimize playback and no problems so far.

I only had three movies on the 8350i and two of the three play on the 8330. The other errors out. weird.

i cant even play videos that are 3gp.... and i'm kinda lost on what to do with this phone. lol
