    whats the easiest way to upgrade to newsest version. have 4.3 now. i have verizon and was hopeing it would solve the loss of sound during calls issue.

    I too have the Verizon 8330 and never experienced any loss of sound.

    There have been conflicting reports that the v4.5xx upgrade will correct the speaker fault, but it is well worth the effort to install it in any case.

    The fault with the speaker is caused by interrupting certain non-BlackBerry audio clips. If they play all the way through, the speaker is released correctly.

    When it does happen, the quickest way to restore sound is by using Voice Activated Dialing.
