With my 8320 curve, first it was turning itself off at random times and would reboot. then yesterday, when i looked at it to check the time- it was off! so i tried to press the power button, no luck. did battery pulls -no red light or a blank white screen!!! So i plugged it in and got a flickering battery with a charge sign. so i figured it was the battery even though it was fully charged that day.
I went down to tmobile to check the battery- they checked the meter and said it was fine- it was the phone... the rep pulled out the battery, put it back and held the two sides of the screen to hold it down. damn red light flashed and after the hourglass flashed it finally turned on. i was happy it worked and went home. later it started to reboot ramdomly again and finally today- phone had rebooted while on a call! it flashed the red light twice before heading to the hourglass...
What can i do as well? it this the same problem as the op? btw i have 16mb? on there and am running 4.5.174Tweet Tweet!

Hey Plunkingtom, I got the OS to reload on it and nothing else on there. No media card or themes or apps I bought. The phone is still not working!! Was talking to my mom on it tonight and it did the same thing. Turning itself off and then rebooted. The phone is only 4 months old.

If its only 4 months, just get a warranty replacement. I wouldn't even bother with it any more -- looks like you've done more than your fair share of troubleshooting.

There seems to be a lot of things going on with these devices. Service Providers that leave you hanging. The urge to throw it against a brick wall is overwhelming. Flooded with information I freeze not knowing which way to go, making finding a solution excruciatingly slow.

If you have a specific question, someone here can probably answer it. With your question, include your carrier and your OS version and as much about the problem as you know: when it occurs, what triggers it, how often it occurs, and anything you recently changed on your phone. The 8330 is an older but excellent device that has been stable for quite a while.
