So I'm pretty sure that the 8330 trackball LED is more dim than the GSM berries. All the pics of GSM curves that I see have extremely bright trackballs that look great. Does the GSM curve have an extra LED or something? I think this has been discussed already but I'm not sure.

nope... took my ball out to color it on my GSM one and no extra LED that I could see.

Check out these GSM berry pics...the trackball is so bright compared to mine.





And mine: maybe it just looks brighter in pictures? because mine looks brighter here in the pic than it actually is...

i love my red berry, just upgraded my OS and got a new theme thats all red, thinking about the rackball, considering the sharpie idea... how risky is that?

yea...im reading that some people have 8330s that have 2 LEDs...but mine only has one...and my boyfriends 8310 is WAY brighter than mine i am very jealous. we even tried switching trackballs cuz i was convinced that it was bc mine was dirty, but no. its bc of where the LED is located
