I have a goofy problem, and have tried several things. Have a 8330 from sprint I'm trying to fix. Screen is black, if I plug the unit in via usb the screen will light up for maybe a few secondsthen go dark. If I unplug from usb, it will light up for a few seconds and go dark. This phone has a password on it, so when the screen does come on, I dont have enough time to even try and unlock.
well, now i can get the screen to come up, but nothing responds to the keyboard if the trackball. and actually unplugging and replugging will still make the bb show a blank screen, but whent he phone reboots the screen shows up fine. in the process of reintsalling os, and during the process the screen stays black, I dont see anything until the phone kicks off its reboot
i had this same problem with my 8330m from sprint and they ended up just having to get me a new one. it is a pain to have to get a new blackberry ......
