I have tried to research posts and tried troubleshooting this BS. It seems like there have been issues across the board with regards to providers and the MMS service.
I have tried a hard start with and without the phone on.
Tried registering my Host Routing Table under advanced options.
Tried sending myself a MMS
Tried 611 and Verizon troubleshooting rep couldnt figure it out.
I'm gonna upgrade the OS when I get home since I have 4.3.127 but as for right now I'm out of options and waiting on some pictures that I could really use right now.... (I could have them sent over email... but I'm trying to keep the pics low-key if you know what Im saying)

I have to wonder why you are posting. It doesn't seem you are asking for help. Do you need help? If so, you should explain your problem.
I have verizon too and not long ago, my wife sent me a MMS message and I received it, but I couldn't open it. Every time I tried, it just gave me an error message saying that it couldn't be opened. I'm not really sure why.
OS 4.3.127 that came with your 8330 is amazingly stable.
Sorry you're having issues with MMS - My thought - if you can't get it working with 4.3, upgrading to a beta 4.5 OS is doing nothing but inviting troubles and issues. There is not currently a VZW "approved" 4.5 release.
Here are my suggestions:
1. Call VZW back. You won't get the same CS person again. Maybe somebody else can assist you.
2. How about going to a VZW store? Perhaps somebody there can walk you through things easier than trying to explain & follow over the phone with VZW.
3. You could always wipe & reinstall when all else fails. Basically start from scratch and go through the setup again.
4. As a distant possibility, you may have an issue with your device. Have you ever been able to send/receive MMS? Did this just start? Did you do anything before the problem arose?
You'll find that people here on CB are incredibly helpful - but they can only work with what you give them. Vague "it won't work" posts get nowhere.
Idk why you're having issues. My mms works fine w 4.3 as well as w 4.5. The only time I got the red x was w low signal which makes sense.
As far as receiving - I hv no issue either.
I mean if you need the pics why don't you just hv them emailed to whatever address you hv coming to your berry? Or try to get a replacement.

Can i upgrade to 4.5 with my verizon 8330? I have 4.3.0.127 but couldnt find a link or info about upgrading to a 4.5...
I also have 8330 Verizon with 4.3.0.127 and I send and receive pictures all the time with no problems.
Your sure it is not a memory issue? Were you ever able to send or recieve MMS? Are you getting an error message or what is happening when you try to send or recieve one?

Just tested again and I'm able send MMS but not recieve... how much memory do I need? Can i direct them to my microSD?
If you don't have the bytes available then you won't be able to receive pics. The concencus in these forums seems to be that you need to have 10,000,000 - 12,000,000 bytes free for the Berry to function.
Menu/Options/Status/FileFree
I don't think it is possible to devert mail to your MicroSD. You can save the pics on the card but only after receiving them.
